Wow, they say 12 in of snow and we get a dusting and they say a dusting and we get several inches. This is the way our winter is shaping up. December began with a fun school play for Kalin. This was our first big school play and Kalin was a trouper. She sang her heart out and looked cute doing it! (of course)
With Christmas come LOTS of traveling. The weekend before Christmas we made that looooooooong drive to Ft. Worth again. Kalin and Kenna were a little overwhelmed with the amount of people but they loved the attention. The weather was beautiful so we were able to play outside. Since we didn't get out of school until Christmas weekend we went to Amarillo. It
was nice to have more time and not have to travel very far. What was great is that we were able to come back here and have Christmas on our own. Kalin helped me make Christmas dinner, she set the table, we lit candles. It was great. That afternoon we went to the movies and both girls were awesome. The next weekend we trek back to Burkburnett and have a fun filled weekend there as well. We had a week to relax before we started back to school. Which gave me plenty of time to clean out old toys and make room for the new favorites.

January led the way for more SNOW..... Kenna loves being out in the snow. Kalin stays out for about 10 minutes then gets cold and wants to go in. They are sooooo opposite! The first few snows were fun, now the girls are ready for summer and swimming. In Jan we did get to visit Kalin's dance class and they are going to be "Groovy Chicks" for the recital in May. The outfit is yellow with a zillion feathers. I will keep you posted....
